Experience the Wild Beauty of Brittany & Normandy's Coast

Discover the untamed beauty of France's Atlantic coastline through this immersive week-long photography workshop exploring the dramatic shores of Brittany and historic Normandy. This captivating journey combines rugged coastal landscapes, charming maritime villages, and iconic architectural landmarks in one of Europe's most photogenic regions.

Brittany's Dramatic Atlantic Coast

Legendary Lighthouses: Discover iconic lighthouses like Kermorvan, each with its own unique story and stunning surroundings.

Rocky Coast: Capture the raw power of the coast with its dramatic cliffs and formations, especially during the golden hours of sunrise and sunset.

Brittany's wild coastline presents some of France's most spectacular seascape photography opportunities. The region's legendary lighthouses, including the iconic Kermorvan lighthouse, stand as solitary sentinels against the powerful Atlantic, each offering unique compositional possibilities within their dramatic surroundings.

The coast's raw geological character reveals itself through towering granite cliffs and sculptural rock formations that transform dramatically during golden hour lighting. These ancient coastal structures provide endless opportunities for capturing the eternal battle between sea and stone.

Signature Locations include the renowned Pink Granite Coast (Côte de Granit Rose), where rose-colored boulders create surreal coastal sculptures, the wild headland of Pointe du Raz with its panoramic Atlantic views, and the island paradise of Belle-Île-en-Mer, offering pristine coastal vistas and traditional Breton fishing villages.

Normandy's Historic Landmark

Mont Saint-Michel represents one of Europe's most photographically rewarding subjects. This medieval abbey, dramatically positioned on its rocky tidal island, offers constantly changing photographic conditions as the surrounding bay transforms with each tide cycle. The monument's Gothic spires create compelling silhouettes against Normandy's expansive skies, while the surrounding causeway and mudflats provide diverse foreground opportunities.

Atlantic Light and Atmosphere

The workshop maximizes the Atlantic coast's exceptional light quality, particularly during the extended golden hours when warm light illuminates the granite coastline and transforms the ocean into a canvas of gold and crimson. These magical sunset conditions over the vast Atlantic create the romantic, atmospheric images that define French coastal photography.

Workshop Experience

This week-long exploration provides comprehensive access to both regions' most photogenic locations while allowing time to revisit sites under different lighting and tidal conditions. The combination of Brittany's wild natural beauty and Normandy's historic grandeur creates a complete French coastal photography experience that captures both the raw power of the Atlantic and the timeless appeal of medieval architecture.

Join us on this unforgettable photography tour and capture the wild beauty of Brittany and Normandy's coast.
