Reasons to join our Tuscany photography tour
The Rolling Tuscan Hills
Tuscany is best known for its rolling misty hills, adorned with vineyards, cypress trees and red-roofed farmhouses. The countryside is particularly photogenic during sunrise and sunset when the golden light enhances the beauty of this scenery.
Cypress Trees
The tall, slender cypress trees are a distinctive symbol of Tuscany. Often you’ll find rows of them lining driveways, roads, and fields, providing many wonderful focal points and lead in lines for your compositions.
Autumn light
Tuscany is home to an abundance of historic chapels, churches, cathedrals, palaces, and castles. These impressive structures provide fantastic elements of interest by themselves or within the wider Tuscany landscape.
Medieval towns
It’s not all landscapes though. Tuscany is dotted with numerous picturesque medieval hilltop villages. These charming hamlets, like Montepulciano, Sorano and Pienza, exude an old-worldly charm and are ideal for capturing a sense of history and tranquility. They also make superb blue hour subjects.
